It was breaking his heart and near impossible to watch, so when it was over, he turned off the TV and pulled Gracie into his arms as he lay across the couch and mourned for his Eagles.

Almost hard to believe it's been a year. Sure, been a crazy one all around the hospital, but...it's also been pretty awesome for me.

We're great, y'know? I really...she's the one...
